Floor mirror in dark stained Canaletto walnut and gold leaf or in dark stained Canaletto walnut and marqueterie de paille details. Wall mirror in black stained ash with black marqueterie de paille.

Designed by Philippe Nigro
“Arcade mirrors are divided into solid walnut wood frames that leave space for mirrors, solids and voids or precious finishes in straw. These arches are sometimes mirror frames, sometimes structural arches, sometimes shelves or sometimes empty spaces. The network of intersecting orthogonal structures plays with reflections, solids and voids and hence with our perception of the object. Arcade is developed as a wall mirror or a revolving mirror. “Philippe Nigro

Bookcase in dark stained canaletto walnut, with textures in different patterns: Ligne (version with glossy red lacquer detail), Chevron and Damier. The bookcase can function as a screen or as a dividing element, to be placed in the centre of the room.

“Hatch is a bookcase with compact proportions and simple lines. The structure is conceived as a frame, like that of a weaver, delimiting a design. It is a graphic exercise making the most of the know-how of cabinet making by assembling a multitude of small pieces of wood to create different patterns that offer the possibility of developing numerous textures: in this case in three forms Ligne, Chevron and Damier. The frames applied to this open storage unit transform a simple object into an element with a strong character, playing on semi-transparency. This bookcase can also function as a screen or a dividing element, to be placed in the middle of the room.” Philippe Nigro

Collection of upholstered items covered in fabric, with liquid metal and matching fabric

“The upholstered poufs and benches of the Punto collection are to interior architecture what punctuation is to grammar. Besides providing elements of comfort in a living room, they add a touch of whimsy and joy to any space with their pop shapes and fruity colours. Like colourful satellite elements orbiting around a sofa, desk or coffee table.” Anthony Guerrée
Console in saphire green shaded marqueterie de paille and glossy brass liquid metal
150x50x75h
Designed by Luca Barengo
“The concept for the CUSHION Sideboard and the BAGUETTE console project revolves around a new interpretation of a well-known technical and functional process such as satin-finishing.
Commonly used to give an opaque appearance, reduce defects and roughness in the material and give a modern and refined taste to the object, with A&B living we went beyond the canonical guidelines to create something unique.
Although it was a very complex and a delicate process to perform, we managed to use satin-finishing with extreme skill and precision, not as a finish but as an amazing decorative technique.” Luca Barengo

Coffee table in dark stained sandblasted cedar wood, brass liquid metal
120x120x22H
Designed by Philippe Nigro
“The shiny gold circle carved in bas-relief is inscribed by contrast, like an imprint or a fossil, in a square, monolithic form in dark sandblasted cedar with a notable wood vein.
Bas-relief is a series of small modular tables, which through their shapes and proportions call for casual posture, in perfect harmony with low seating close to the ground.
The bas-relief forms a composition, like an undulating, evolving landscape: it can be used in the form of a large single table, or it can be divided into four modules to make separate tables, coffee tables, bedside tables. Like a puzzle, modular and adaptable to change space and uses.” Philippe Nigro
Console in waxed woven marqueterie de paille and polished shellac lacquer
150x29x80H
Designed by Alberto Vismara
“In a world dominated by complex shapes and sophisticated details, a console table emerges that embraces the essence of simplicity and nature. Its’ clean, minimalist lines make it a timeless piece of design, while its’ intricate marqueterie de paille covering transforms it into a work of art.
The attention to detail is evident from the first glance: the console is an example of balance between form and material. Every square centimeter is covered with weaved straw, executed with the utmost craftsmanship, giving the furniture a unique, organic texture, as well as evoking a sense of calm and serenity. Its’ simplicity recalls the rhythms of nature and suggests a strong connection with the surrounding environment. ” Alberto Vismara
Sideboard in dark stained Canaletto walnut, finish in shellac and art paper
Cm 224x60x52H
Designed by Alberto Vismara
“Aesthetics merge with functionality in a walnut wood storage unit that captures the very essence of excellent craftsmanship. This piece, with its shellac finish that reflects light with elegance, represents an elevation of contemporary design. Immediately striking is the synergy between the solidity of the material and the fragility of the Fabriano paper, used in an innovative and daring way as a decorative element. The side parts of the furniture, made of fine sheets of paper, reveal a unique dialogue between tradition and modernity, offering a visual narrative that fascinates and enchants. The skillful use of unfinished edges accentuates the effect of lightness. This unusual yet harmonious pairing opens up new perspectives in the world of contemporary furniture, challenging conventions and transforming the furniture into a work of art. Not just a piece of furniture, but a statement of intent: an elegant fusion of shapes and materials that invites reflection on the beauty and fragility of our existence. All in all, the Mille sideboard is a tribute to the transformative power of design when it embraces art with boldness and resolve.” Alberto Vismara

…. che principio degli esseri è l’infinito (ápeiron)….
(Anassimandro fr. 1 DK, in Simplicio, De physica, 24, 13)
“ÁPEIRON , unlimited, without end. The repetition of solid ash wood, worked with superior cabinet-making techniques, opens up endless possibilities for the use of the accessories that complete the design.
The playful aspect merges with creativity for multiple possibilities of use and composition, a common thread that links ÁPEIRON to the Swallow and Ravel projects.” Francesco Citterio
Table in waxed marqueterie de paille and pure gold leaf; chair in pure gold leaf and fabric
Cm Ø160x75H – 45x52x90H
Designed by Alessio Bernardini
” An evolution of the small coffee table, designed the year before, with the new table and chair I wanted to convey an image inspired by nature.
The table top, made of marqueterie de paille, is characterised by a geometric pattern reproducing the intersection of the branches of a tree. A harmonious figure resulting from the fusion of the material’s naturalness, colour and technique, giving it unique metallic reflections. This representation of branches, intersecting each other, is supported by a solid wood base skillfully carved by hand, with the appearance of a large root, which I wanted to embellish with a pure gold leaf finish.
The chair, also entirely carved by hand, compliments the table that, in the context of nature, promotes sharing, traditions and exchange of emotions.” Alessio Bernardini

Series of wooden wall decorations
Various sizes
Designed by Alessio Bernardini
“From the passion for my work and the continuous search for new decorations and finishes for the most renowned companies in the design sector, my idea was to create decorative wall elements, where technique and colour unite in the best of their expressions. With this in mind, I created a small collection featuring wood, plays on colour, inks, chalks, lacquers, and even everyday materials such as satin ribbons. “Alessio Bernardini
JOLIE
The concave surface is emphasised by shades of chine ink that create depth and three-dimensionality. The laborious technique is embellished with a high-gloss resin coating, the outer side is finished with a shiny liquid metal, a highly reflective finish.
BIJOU
The geometric pattern is realised thanks to two visually and tactilely very different materials: chalk and glossy lacquer. The very material aspect of the chalk contrasts with a mirror-like lacquered surface.
SOLEIL
On a liquid metal base that is mirrored on the surface, the next layer of plaster is applied, processed, and then removed using a very special technique. This process creates a very special pattern that leaves space for the reflective metal base.
SATIN
The wooden surface is decorated with an overlay of satin ribbons; the subsequent resin coating creates a three-dimensional appearance.
