Born in 1982, Alessio Bernardini studied wood and its finishes since his adolescence, spent in the Brianza region in Northern Italy. He entered workshops immediately after his studies and, at a very young age, he went to Paris to learn ancient decorative techniques such as parchment, galuchat and rye straw inlay. Back in Italy, at the age of just 28 he founded A&B Wood Finishes, which established itself in the supply of large woodwork, lacquers and multiple decorative finishes for all companies in the Brianza district and beyond. In 2019, pursuing the desire to marry high craftsmanship with essential and geometric design, Bernardini founded A&B living.
He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Design at IAAD in Turin in 2010 and opened his own studio in his hometown in 2018. His collaborations with international brands and companies include A&B Living, Bentley Home, Fendi Casa, Giorgetti, Mason Editions and TreP+.
He graduated in 2001 at the IED in Milan and immediately entered the world of design, embarking on a career that led him to become Senior Research & Development Project Manager at Luxury Living Group, dealing with furniture and design supplies for Fendi Casa, Dolce & Gabbana Casa, Bentley Home, Bugatti Home, Trussardi Casa, Baccarat Maison, Minotti S.p.a. and Promemoria.
